It didn't take much time to construct the shape but the colouring was a long process...

another scary show

I realized that this year i'm really into horror movies...
Even though i'm such a chicken during the show coz i cover my eyes when i think something scary is about to happen,
But it's the fear factor that makes me go back for more...

haha watched 'Mirrors' yesterday...
my sis felt that it wasn't as scary as 'The Orphanage'
But i thought some scenes were damn scary...
It's not that the ghosts look scary, but its the suspense of not knowing when they will POP out
and scare the shit out of you...

'Mirrors' is quite a good movie, if ur a fan of horror, or the tv series '24' (coz d lead actor is Kiefer Sutherland) then go watch it..

Be prepared though... I must admit... after coming back from the show, i felt a little uncomfortable looking in the mirror hahaha...

August is a special month...

I like it partly becoz of my b'day... Oh and then there's the one week break...
It's a good time of the year...

Not too early, I usually prefer the second half of the year coz that's the time when we have adapted to things...

But also not too late... means there is still time to cancel things off our '2008 to do' list...

can't believe August will be over just like that...
another 11 months till the next one... =)

i can't believe i call myself a tennis player and a tennis fan...

been so busy i didn't realize the last grand slam of the year had started this week!

Yes! Ths U.S. Open is here...

Unfortunately it may have been overshadowed by the Olympic games this year...

then make my predictions...

Anyway, just based on current form (without reference to the draw, coz i didn't see it)

i think Dinara Safina has a great chance of doing well coz Sharapova is not in the tournament (injured), both Ivanovic and Jankovic have been suffering from injury...

as for the Williams sister, i think they won't go beyond the quarter finals.... it's my opinion...

expect a lot of upsets with the women seeds coz there r a lot of young, dangerous lower ranked players now...



As for the men's side, Nadal is sooooooooooooooo hot right now,
I would be an idiot if i didn't pick him as the favourite... he is the new world no.1, the current man to beat...

Djokovic might pull of a surprise again like how he won the Australian Open in Jan, he is good on hard courts...

Federer is just scarily unpredictable right now... but he IS a great multi gram slam winning champion... so we can never count him out...

Andy Roddick & James Blake will have massive home support, but i don't think that's enough to bring them to the title...

I don't think i'll get to watch many matches but i will definitely keep track of the results! =)

back to college life

haih... usually i don't post at night but tonight is my last night of hols...

feeling a little sad... coz this week i had some good times with friends n family.
this is probably one of my better holidays...

oh well... life goes on and the world will turn whether ur ready or not...

feeling worried too...
coz once i get back to college,
it will be LOTS of work, tests and also an oral presentation...

not to mention that i didn't complete my chemistry homework,
and didn't do some other research work...
what to do? holiday reli got NO mood mar...

all i can do now is to brace myself for impact!

I realized...

..that I was so naive.

I thought I was wise, I thought I knew what I wanted in life.
I can't believe I ignored all those signs.
I only chose to SEE what I WANTED TO SEE...

But all of a sudden, it's like I just woke up and things are so clear to me now.

Guess I really didn't know what's best for me...
Guess I was blinded by my own thoughts...

But the important thing is NOW I KNOW.
And it's NEVER too late...

this is NOT an EMO post, i just feel lucky that i WOKE UP...
In fact, I feel so much better now.

This week of holidays really helped me clear my head.
Life is never easy, but at least we never stop learning from it...
So i guess that means we can only get better right? =)

Exercise 2 Da Max!

today didn't start well, the rain ruined our plans of playing tennis at astaka in the morning,
but humans r flexible, so there is always a Plan B...

the usual gang of Jit Teng, Yu Xuan n I (plus Lok Mun who was on hols) went to Yu Xuan's place with the intention to play squash... but we couldn't find the ball!

that tiny, rounded, black coloured friend just didn't wanted to show its face...

ok................ so change of plans AGAIN...

went to play badminton at Tmn Megah... it was still raining btw...

after that went to buy squash ball, then went back to Yu Xuan's place to play...

then went 4 lunch at '6 to 10 Grill', i went home to look 4 the key card for the Casa Tropicana condo but couldn't find it... turns out it was not at home...

so swt!!! luckily still could enter the condo to play tennis in the evening........

Lok Mun got to try squash n tennis for the first time today (i think)... i hope he enjoyed it...

Today's lesson?
Things don't always go the way you want them to, but at the end of the day, we somehow work it out one way or the other...

My legs r sore from the hours of running, n every now and then my left arm and both my calves cramp up when i stretch it too much... haha it's just as the saying goes:
"No pain, no gain!"
